Design And Development Of Express Order System Based On SMS

With the development of wireless communications technology, communication through mobile phones has become the primary means of e-commerce. The business model and the business solutions in the domestic enterprises have gradually changed. The domestic express enterprises need to apply information technology to reform the process of business and develop new business models. They should see the competitive advantage of SMS in order to provide customers with convenient, secure and good service. Therefore, this article proposes a communication program of SMS based express order system, which orders the business by SMS instead of the traditional phone. This paper first introduces the key technologies involved in the order system, including J2ME technology, the development of GSM modem which can access GSM, the knowledge of XML and the core technology of Ajax. Center on the use of SMS features, I design a system composed of three programs such as the client application on the cell phone, the applications on the GSM modem and the web platform. And I analyzed the implementation of the system in detail from three aspects. In the analysis of the system, I described MVC design pattern and how to send and receive text messages in the J2ME applications, set forth the collaborative mechanism between the system of sending and receiving SMS and the of development GSM modem on how to deal with the SMS. Then, I explained how to structure and analyze the format of XML message as well as the function of automatically replying the enquiry by SMS. The implementation of the system not only can optimize the order process, making the order information accurate and timely in the flow of transmit and management, but also can reduce the operating costs of the corporation, improving the operational efficiency. This communication solution provided by the article will also have a good prospect applied on other areas, such as catering, ticketing and tourism.The first chapter introduces the Mobile Short Message Service status, summed up the three basic ways to achieve communication through SMS and the basic functions that SMS management platform should have. In the second chapter, I expound the basic concepts and application of XML, the basic structure of J2ME and the core objects in Ajax technologies. I introduce the relevant knowledge about the development of GSM modem, including functional, basic principles, classification and the interfaces in the development. The third chapter of introduces the overall solution of the express orders system and the key technical difficulties. In the fourth chapter, I explain the mechanisms for collaboration between systems and the three components of the system were outlined their functional features, the implementation from the technology. The fourth chapter discusses the characteristics and good prospect of the system.
