Simulated all kinds of experiments about outer space environment is primary role of the vacuum test silo, and its intelligent control terminal carries on the parameters of the warehouse for real-time monitoring. With the demands of increased, which include terminal display performance, index parameter complexity shows and human machine interface friendly, there are shortcomings in the existing monochrome LCD, they are color monotone, simple interface and poor performance of the overall display. For these reasons, the improvement program is proposed, it is a kind of vacuum test silo intelligent terminal based on ARM and FPGA technology.According to the domestic and foreign development, this paper analyzed the development prospects of display control about vacuum test silo in all fields, researched the display of intelligent control terminal, used TFT-LCD instead of the original monochrome LCD screen, then overall project design of display system is established. It maked used of microcontroller of ARM 9200 as main control unit to build hardware platform. Based on FPGA technology, LCD display control system software is programmed, a detailed analysis of the software design of timing control module and cache read and write control module is given, the correctness of timing module is proved through simulation. Combination of graphics device interface of embedded Linux operating system, with GNU tools for cross development tool chain, Linux operating system is transplanted in the ARM9200, interface drive of frame buffer device framebufferr is programmed, it enhanced data transmission rate. Through hardware and software debugging, the datas display of vacuum test silo is becomed true.Through hardware and software platform debugging, the technology and method studied in this paper can control LCD to display, and the results show that the system data frame rate has increased significantly, data frame rate reached 25 frames per second.
