Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) is a great potential value of network. With the intelligent, network and other technologies become more sophisticated, WSN arouse people's attention and research. Micro-sensor can be achieved within the information collection, data processing, wireless communication and other function because of wireless communication technology, microelectronics and computer technology. WSN has the advantages such as simple to deploy, node layout-intensive, strong of self-organizing and hidden, high fault tolerance and low cost, these advantages for many areas of applied research to provide more convenient. However, the composition of the WSN nodes by the power of energy, computing and communication capability storage capacity constraints, limit the life of network. Data Aggregation is one of the key technologies for WSN, it can be used to reduce traffic and network congestion, also can be used to improve the accuracy of information, so nodes in the energy savings were achieved as well as the effect of extending the network life cycle. Data Aggregation's operation is to remove the data which contain redundant information that is invalid as well as the poor credibility, and aggregation of information which has been sent to the sink node.This paper introduces the concept of WSN, work patterns, hierarchy and so on. Analyses the technology of data aggregation, introduces the definition from the traditional sense; the role of data aggregation is manifested in saving energy, obtaining more accurate information and improving data collection efficiency; the main method of data aggregation such as application layer data aggregation, network-layer data aggregation and independent data aggregation. Because of the operation of existing data aggregation programs are based on WSN protocols related, describes the communication protocol for WSN in the fourth chapter, category discussed MAC protocol and routing protocol, such as S-MAC, LEACH, SPEED and IEEE802.15.4. Finally, the research of data aggregation based on WSN, the sub-cluster theory of LEACH was to be referenced, study and analyze the data aggregation program such as centralize data aggregation, tree-based data aggregation, static and dynamic clustering of data aggregation. In the NS2 simulation environment, imitation of sensor nodes, as well as set the parameters for the simulation experiments,analysis and comparison these programs with the theoretical and experimental results, confirm the impact of WSN data aggregation performance related factors as well as the integration program for the occasion. Based on the experimental results, a new data aggregation program is been proposed,The program will be centralized, static and dynamic clustering combination of the stops of their respective strengths to meet the data integration process has better performance, to extend the life of the purpose of the network.
