With the rapid development of China's automobile industry, especially in automotive electronic ignition system, the high-intelligentized test system with an excellent performance became more and more important. As the Auto Industry started relatively late in China, We fall behind in the testing method and equipment on ignition product,it's meaningful to research on the intelligent test system of the ignition product.As we known, compared to automation and intelligence,a number of manual operations are needed to test the ignition system in our china's automotive electronics products.We need to test the parameters one by one,which can't promise the reliability of the testing result. It's very necessary to test the technical performance on ignition modules and coil which are the critical part of the ignition system. After learning kinds of testing methods on automobile ignition parameter in and outsides,this paper put forward the intelligent testing system based on embedded technology.Firstly,the paper introduces the compositon and characteristics of the ignition parameters, and dicuss the relation between every sub-modules,analyse the influence of environment and paremeters and reasons.And then design the embedded intelligent ignition test system after doing some research on various testing methods on parameters.The paper puts forward the design principle and circuit structure which is divided into several modules, such as ignition waveform signal generate module,I/O chanal select module,high-speed data acquisition module,RS232 communication module and so on. Besides, the paper design the isolation circuit to eliminate the interference when the ignition coil and module are running. In the software-design part, the paper introduces the upper PC interface devloped by Delphi and the portability of the lower position control system, and the design of the software function module,as well as finishing the design of Data Frame Format,Database and Report.At last, after testing and debugging on the system, the paper show the result of the ignition module and coil, and draw the waveform of the high-speed data signal according to the signal collected. The embedded intelligent automobile ignition system is running well, and show excellent performance, which can achieve the standard of the ignition module and coil with high application value.
