China Youth Daily, very popular newspaper in china, has been concerned about the growth of the only one-child of the Chinese family, focusing on the readers who are teenagers and middle-aged adults in society. It has been reporting the events which happen in the process of the only-one child's growth and provides in-depth discussion involved in those kinds of topics, with the its standing-out style developed consequently. This research paper not only studies related discourses and reports in China Youth Daily and tries to make readers a clear guide that media should have more objective attitudes to the issues involved in these children's life, but also analyzes and interprets slightly with the aspects of newspapers and internet medias, along with how to make the good use of our media to improve and correct the impressions that readers in society already had about the only-child at present, both positively and negatively. Furthermore, it tries to explore the extractive ways, under the perspective of journalism, to encourage the new generation growing up as the only child of the family to establish the proper value of life and world.
