Modern medical device has brought great progress in medicine and become an indispensable part of medical activities, which makes healthcare workers increasingly rely on devices. Therefore, device information sharing and device collaboration are more and more concerned. In order to meet clinical needs, address information sharing and device collaboration, reduce medical errors and improve efficiency and quality of healthcare, medical device interoperability technologies are introduced. In medical device interoperability research, the state information interoperability of medical device is an important aspect. The realization of the state information interoperability will be beneficial to device management and collaboration.To achieve the state information interoperability of medical device, study must be carried out with multi-layers:the term layer (standardized the terminology of the state), the interface layer (unified the semantic service interface) and the application layer (application method and use case).Current studies have generally confined to a certain layer, and systematic studies have not appeared. At present, there are still some problems in the realization of the state information interoperability of medical device, for example:Need to standardize the medical device state, that is, what is the state?Need to define the expression of the state in order to share the common understanding between device and computer, that is, how to express and share the state?Need to unify the access and control the interfaces of the state, that is, how to obtain and control the state?Need to unify the application method to deal with the state, that is, how to effectively use the state? Thus, this thesis focuses on the state information interoperability of medical device. The major tasks include:Set up an information reference model of medical device state, which provides a shared concept, including all the vocabulary and terminology and their relationship.Research the formal expression of information reference model based on OWL, which allows all the medical devices to understand and process information reference model.Achieve the semantic support of the state-related services based on OWL-S, which enables the computer to process the services automatically.Choose some typical cases and design simulation environment for the state information interoperability of medical device. The simulation results verify the feasibility of information reference model of medical device state and related semantic services.
