This thesis starts from the status of the domestic textile printing and dyeing industry, especially on the issues of large energy and water consumption and unstable quality of the printing. To help solve these two problems, an online moisture regain control system is brought forward. This control system is based on real-time operation systemμCOS-Ⅱand the latest ARM Cortex-M3 architectured microcontroller LM3S1138. The study goes parallel with an explore to improve conventional development methodology with RTW(real time workshop) toolbox. In pursuit of good interactive, a TFT-LCD panel and an SD are added as well asμCGUI the graphics user interface and FatFs the file system.Chapter 1 introduces the background and the problems to solve. Chapter 2 introduces knowledges and tools to employ, including the RTW toolbox, common control algorithms and a big picture of this control system. Chapter 3 presents simulations of four popular control systems in Matlab to deside a most suitable algorithm. Chapter 4 is a record to generate codes out of the Matlab models with RTW. Then in Chapter 5 we build a minimun system by transplantingμCOS-Ⅱ,μCGUI and FatFs. In Chapter 6, work in Chapter 4 and 5 are combined. Finally in Chapter 7 we conclude the whole study.
