VoIP (Voice Over IP) technology is a IP-based voice communications technolo-gy, get a large development in the Internet times. In recent years, with the Internet and IP technology larger scale application, VoIP won the explosive growth and practical application, provides users with an unprecedented applications which can't be provid-ed in traditional ways. Since its foundation hardware is more universal and flexible, by the hardware system conversion, the VoIP systems can not only offer traditional telephone services, but also carry out a variety of voice communications interoperabil-ity.The integrated voice access gateway designed in this article is for IP phone, traditional PSTN phone, wireless radio, and provide GSM/CDMA communication ports creative design. Base on its open soft switch technology system, with the specialized voice DSP and FPGA chip, it achieve universal access to voice and data exchange functionality. This article topic comes from Anhui Sun Create Electronics Co., Ltd's research and development projects, the purpose of the project is to develop an equipment can multi-access FXS(Foreign Exchange Station), FXO(Foreign Exchange Station), RA-DIO, GSM/CDMA and other embedded interface integrated voice access equipment, have the flexibility to select the way of communication and way-out. This thesis is based on the project commenced.First, this study describes the background, introduces several key VoIP technolo-gies of the gateway device. Second, introduces and studies the sub-module hardware of the gateway, including the DSP module and the FPGA module, the overall hardwa-re framework and its working principle and process, demonstrate the key part of the system design and implementation. Finally, give a test to the system as a whole and concluded that achieve the expected goal by the actual results.
