The Research Of VoIP Systems Based On H.323 And Implentation Of VoIP Terminal

VoIP, also known as Voice over Internet Protocol, is a voice communication technology at very fast speed, which allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line, this service can make a communication connection between computers, traditional telephones and both of them.In this thesis, research has been carried on in several aspects of the principle of VoIP and the H. 323 protocol which is used broadly, such as network structure of VoIP, protocol layers of VoIP, RTP/RTCP. Then We analyze the kind of ways to make communication connection based on H. 323 protocol and the structure and key technology of H. 323 terminal. In the end, we design and realize a simple H.323 terminal using direct communication, which can work on the LAN.Also this thesis emphasize on the process of the embedded VoIP terminal based on DSP. We study the software and hard ware design of this system detailedly.
