In recent years, with the rapid development of the tunnel project in china, CAD technology, the use of drawing in the design,becomes more and more applicable, but the design units to the use of CAD drawings are still a large number of professional staff mainly mechanical drawing, which has not the design capacity to meet the growing needs. Therefore, parametric drawing is of the urgent need for a tunnel graphic design.With the development of West-East Gas Project, the traditional sense of the CAD drawing can't meet the changing cross-section of the tunnel pipeline needs. Changing parameter of a cross-section changes the whole cross-section diagram, therefore, developing the pipeline project for the corresponding parametric CAD drawing system become the urgent need for the project. At present, there is no secondary development of CAD program modules in the pipe tunnel,this article is the first time to develop the AutoCAD2004 secondly in the pipeline tunnel design programming.In this paper, taking the Second-West-East Land (Mountain) Pipeline tunnel engineering as the background, Author explore and study how using the ObjectARX tool to develop the pipeline tunnel parametric design system on the AutoCAD2004 platform. The key issues include the development of user interfaces, modifying and accessing to the graphical database of AutoCAD, creating shape entities in AutoCAD, and so on. In view of the tunnel pipeline design process,we develop the following modules:①Parameter section drawing and engineering calculation module;②natural gas pipeline tunnel surrounding rock classification module;③tunnel surrounding rock pressure calculation module;④natural gas pipeline tunnel lining meter module.The procedures takes AutoCAD2004 as manipulating platform, C++ as the development language, ObjectARX2004 as tool,to analysis and parameter calculation of drawing functions. This thesis is a try of tunnel CAD integration in a gas pipeline,which has a certain reference value to the development of pipeline tunnel CAD software based on ObjectARX tool.
