In recent years, multi-service integration communication based on IP network are developmenting greatly, audio, images, data, business-integration communications are coming into our daily life, the main feature of 3rd generation communication is IP network. By the rapid rise of network flow, users ask for higher rate and quality of service to network devices, the 3rd layer switches blossom in IP network nowadays. This article focuses on analysis to a single IP network business-integration communications facing by some questions of the following:One is the IP network routing policy. By selecting a valid and reliable route from the source node to destination node,to send IP packets safely and effectively; The second is key nodes'configuring mode. For example, the design on switching equipments'backup, the switch sequence between the master and backup equipments, etc. The third is the quality-of-service policy. The quality of service for specific business (voice, video, data) on the IP network communication's requirements vary a lot, how to provide differential QoS for every single business service. This article is proposed to solve the above questions:the first is to run the open shortest path first Protocol (open shortest path first, OSPF) to select the routes effectively; the second is to use virtual router redundancy Protocol (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) to implement the high-availability of swithes; the third is to design services'priority classification in IP network communications, for different services to provide different IP QoS accordingly. The last part of this article is an introduction of an isolated IP network business-integration communications instance, detailing the policy of routes, switch devices and service quality in the practical engineering projects.
