With the characteristics including wideband instantaneous frequency coverage, good sensitivity and dynamic range, simultaneous signal detection, the channelized receiver is being widely used in reconnaissance receiver. The traditional analog channelized receiver has the limitations, such as the huge facility, non-linear phase, inconsistent amplitude gain and so on. At the same time, the digital wideband receiver has the conflict between high speed ADC and low speed DSP processing ability. According to the above questions, a design method of channelized receiver based on polyphase filters has been researched. It can conspicuously reduce the complexity and improve the capacity of the real-time signal processing in the case of total probability of wideband intercept and capture.In the paper, we studied the channelized receiver based on polyphase filters, including the implementation techniques of the receiver and the signal sorting. The main content is introduced as follows:Firstly, the main implementation techniques of the channelized receiver have been discussed. The digital channelized receiver that based on polyphase filters has been researched.Secondly, we studied the signal detection methods in channelized receiver, including methods of signal detection in frequency domain and signal detection with sliding window. Then, a highly effective digital frequency demodulation method based on Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer(CORDIC) algorithm and first-order difference has been given. The simulation verified its high efficiency.Thirdly, the sorting process of radar signal has been analysed, we introduced PRI sorting algorithm, such as Cumulative Difference Histogram, Sequential Difference Histogram, PRI transform algorithm and plane transform algorithm and so on. Because the numbers of the PRI bin are hard to confirm, an improved PRI algorithm has been put forward. Its good sorting performance has been verified by computer simulation.Finally, an integrated sorting method of high density signal has been introduced. The method use three sorting parameters, the pre-sorting parameters are frequency(RF) and pulse width(pw), the main sorting parameter is pulse repetition interval(PRI). The simulation shows that the method realizes the accurate sorting and recognition.
