Research On Related Technologies Of Railway Network And Station Electronic Map System

In our country, railway operation is very complicated. Therefore, research areas such as railway network plan and reform, resource allocation and organization of train operation, exist complex many questions which are unable to be analyzed with mathematics method.Because of efficiency, economy and security, computer simulation on railway transportation attracts more and more attention.A user-friendly, perceivable and interactive computer simulation platform is basic work of train operation simulation and railway operation simulation.Because the railway transport has distinct characteristics of geographical information, a train operation simulation platform based on geographic information system, can enhance the work efficiency.In this thesis, combination of rail transport organization, geographic information systems, system simulation theory, software engineering, computer graphics and other related theories, electronic map system of railway network and railway station has been deeply studied. The content of this thesis are as following:1. This thesis studied on the related theories of geographic information system. Based on the characteristics of railway network and railway station, attribute database and spatial database of railway network and railway stations were designed.2. This thesis researched key technologies of electronic map system of railway network and station. These are establishing railway network and station electronic map based on graphic primitive library, establishing railway station electronic map based on station model library and algorithm of station route search.3. Implementation of electronic map system is an important part of this thesis. The system functions include drawing railway network electronic map, drawing railway station electronic map, editing of graphics, querying or editing of attributes, checking data integrity, basic operation of electronic map and system output.In this thesis, electronic map system of railway network and station has been realized with Microsoft Visual C++and MapX. The system which is user-friendly, perceivable and interactive, achieves the goals. These lay a certain foundation for simulation of railway operations and railway operation simulation.
