The Research Of Wireless Digital Home Network

Following the rapid development of digital technology, a lot of digital products such as PC, PDA, mobile phone, digital TV, DVD, MP3, DV/DC appear to our lives, at the same time, the popularity of Internet and mobile communications have greatly enriched our lives. So, it is in urgent need of building a digital home networks with broadband access, interconnect, content sharing. Digital home is an integration of home network and multimedia information networks. It is also an integration of 3C (computer, consumer electronics and communication) products. It includes family communication, digital multimedia entertainment, home control, home security and many other features.In this dissertation, I did a deep research in wireless communication technologies, including IrDA, Bluetooth, WI-Fi, ZigBee, and RFID. And I also made a comparison between their features and applications, and analyzed their development trends. Digital home involve telecommunications, IT, CE, security, so there are many standards, such as DLNA and IGRS. In this paper, I pointed out differences between two standards. This paper also designed digital home network scenarios, and wireless digital home network system, introduced digital home media sharing service. For the future of digital home, cloud computing is a possible development, another problem needs to be solved is wireless interference.
