The Design And Implementation Of Asset Management System For Shandong Economic And Trade Vocational College

Along with the development of higher education, Shandong Economy and Business Vocational College are expanding the scale of its possessed assets which are becoming more and more complicated and difficult to manage. It demands new requirements constantly for the assets management of our school as the merger and adjustment among colleges are deepening as well as the logistics, finance, human resources and distribution work. The management of assets is always the chink of the armour of our college. In order to strengthen the management work, beneficial efforts have been made by some regions and colleges such as developing managing software, exploiting teaching apparatus controlled by computers. And progress has been achieved. Therefore, following the higher education reform policy, we should construct the assets managing work systematically by using modern information technology to achieve progress.This article illustrates the background of the assets-managing system development and exemplifies the main work after analysing developing tendency. It first explains the overall work and then presents key technology enable the work of the system. The system has adopted JAVA and Struts framework of J2EE in realizing the managing work. This system covers the complete process from enlisting the basic information to information counting work of Shandong Economy and Trade Vocational College. It enables the management of application, human resources and distributors; facilitates the assets management of basic information; completes the purchase of the assets and so on. The assets management operation covers all the processes including the maintenance and transformation operation. It also records the detailed list for each assets management condition and makes the detailed statistical analysis report in asset operation. Also it will be used in the operation of assets backup data, initial data, set unit, account management and right management. The assets statistics managing work is realized through application process, assets operation and record listing. Therefore former managing work can be changed and its efficiency can be enhanced. At last, we achieved an efficient assets managing work.
