The Design And Implementation Of Mongolian Metadata And Content Package Editing Tools Based On Celts Standard

It plays an important role in promoting the reuse and sharing rate of Mongolian teaching resources and enhancing the level of Mongolian teaching to develop Mongolian distance education platform and to strengthen the standardized degree of Mongolian educational resources'construction. Currently, the standardization of Chinese teaching resources already constituted perfect CELTS standard system, but Mongolian teaching resources' standardization work still stays in the beginning stage.Corresponding to the two information model specification of learning object metadata and content packaging in CELTS standard, this thesis attempts to provide the standards in Mongolian and provides relatively standardized definition of the data element's name for describing Mongolian learning objects. Based on the fixed Mongolian corresponding standards, this thesis mainly introduces the design and implementation of Mongolian metadata editing tools. The tools include two parts which are editing Mongolian learning object metadata and editing Mongolian content package. Mongolian learning object metadata editing tool provides the function of editing, saving and searching Mongolian metadata. At first, we design the web page view of Mongolian metadata editing tool based on the technology of Mongolian vertical ActiveX control and CSS cascading style sheet. Secondly, we establish the MVC framework of Mongolian metadata editing tool combining the technology of J2EE web development framework and Eclipse environment. Finally, we use XML technology to package the metadata information into well-structured XML document according to CELTS-3.1 code binding specification, in which the metadata information are inputted dynamically from Mongolian web page; then, we can also parse the generated XML document to inquire the learning object metadata information which conforms to the query condition. Mongolian content packet editing tool provides two functions that are editing learning package and searching learning package, in the purpose of carrying out standardized description and retrieval for content packets meeting CELTS standard.
