Water resource is vital to human's survival and development, and it's limited. In China, the loss of water supply system caused by pipeline leakage is staggering each year, which makes the water problem more severe. So it is necessary to strengthen the controlling of the water supply pipeline leakage.The water pipeline leak detection which can get the leak point location by carrying out filtering, relative management and specific algorithm to the acoustic signal from the sensor on the pipe, is an effective method to achieve leakage control. The pipeline detection technique has been used in the west countries which integrates signal sensing, detecting, transmission, processing, computing technology. And there are professional institutes providing such services. Some cities have begun pipe leakage detection by using the importing equipments. However, there are still many problems for the equipments" reasons. Compared with foreign countries, there still exits a big gap both in techniques and equipments. For this reason some universities and research Institutes had started such research and achieved some good results. The Inner Mongolia University has developed a pipeline leak detection prototype which depending on acoustic wave propagation and digital signal processing technology. The actual measurement data showed that it could meet the design requirement. In prototype the sensor unit is connected with the processing unit in form of wire to achieve data transmission, which has the advantage of strong anti-jamming ability, but disadvantage of the range and flexible limitation.All in this thesis is to solve this problem. The main work in this thesis is to set up the hardware test platform using DSP as the core processing device. Establish the wireless data transmission system based on MCU and RF module, realize wireless data transmission synchronization through time delay control. Complete the signal sampling, processing and achieving the accurate location of pipe leakage by correlative algorithm. The experimental results show that the wireless data transmission system Based on MCU and wireless RF chips can break space restrictions, and expand the detecting scope, the 8192 points correlation algorithm improves the system's detection accuracy, the multi-task mechanism underμC/OS-Ⅱincreases the system's operation efficiency.
