| Since appearing, group technology has been widely used in manufacturing. But making a general survey of its development, we can see that if treated only as a single application process without the conceptual expansion and philosophic understanding, group technology will probably lose its advantage in the fiercely competitive market. Therefore, we consider that combine the traditional research model of group technology and advanced design method to form the new research direction.Group Technology's core is the combinatorial optimization, while the parametric design is one of the effective methods. The combination of the two will improve the efficiency better. The parametric design, also known as the Dimension-Driven, is a new subject that be put forward in the CAD practical application. With the bound shape as the core and the dimension-driven as the characteristic, the parametric design has been widely applied in each field for the virtues of fast, accurate, reliable transmission and standardization, etc. Therefore this paper takes the clutch pressure plate as the research object, combines the group technology and the parametric design together and puts forward the clutch pressure plate parametric and coding system. The mainly content studied by this paper is as follows:1) Research correlative theories of group technology, classification and coding system, secondary development technology of three-dimensional design software SolidWorks and parametric design.2) Carry out the parametric design of the pressure plate. According to the structure similarity of the pressure plate, the design principle and SolidWorks API interfaces, the pressure plate parametric design system carries out the automatic numeration of main dimensions and the dimension-driven of 3d models, which greatly improves efficiency of the design and cuts down the time of the development cycle.3) Establish the pressure plate technical coding system. In allusion to the practical problems of clutch pressure plate on the repeat design and low efficiency, analyze several kinds of pressure plates on the aspect of the structure and the manufacturing technique, put forward special technical coding form, and exploit the pressure plate technical coding system utilizing C++ to carry out the classification and inquiry of pressure plate.4) With SolidWorks as the platform and Visual studio 2008 (C++) as the programming tool, exploit the clutch pressure plate parametric and coding system. On the one hand, the automatic search of SolidWorks files and the parametric design in structure are carried out; on the other hand, the technical database in ethnics is established. Through getting the technical database from its code, one kind of pressure plate's three-dimensional model and process flow are finally shown on the screen. |
