Design Of Smart Home System Based On ZigBee

Through the analysis and comparation of several related short-ranged wireless network technology standards which are popular nowadays, ZigBee, a new low-power, low-rate and low-cost short-ranged wireless network technology, is better suitable for the wireless home security system. This network is a clusterd network topology, and self-organizing, self-repairing, and sense node can join dynamically, alarm automatically.This paper chooses the ZigBee as networking method to set up the home security wireless communication network, and designs the hardware and software. The hardware design contains two parts: the master control module and the slave master control module. The master control module uses the wireless module CC2420, which control the home appliances by sending the command to the slave module; the slave control module receives the command and monitors the house to avoid the fire and invaded. The software design contains improving the routing protocol and checking the data using CRC. The thesis improved the Zigbee routing protocol to balance the distribution of energy throughout the system, so that the live of the network is extended; Checking the data uses CRC can avoid invalid and redundant data to ensure the reliability of data transmission.
