Study Of Ontology Integration In Emergency Case Management

With the continuous burst of public events, it has aroused wide attention in the world and the study of emergency management also has become hot topic. China also pays more attention to emergency preparedness and emergency response, concerns about key technologies and system of pubic safety. aid decision-making is main function of emergency management through enhancing information resources management and information exchanging and sharing in formulation.Ontology provides a new way for the description of emergency cases, and it makes Web search process more accuracy at the basis of concepts. However, independent domain experts in different areas of the development of the corresponding source ontology may express different conceptual models and ontology description languages. These language have varying degrees of formulation, and domain knowledge between different ontology may duplicate or overlap. Thus, there are several inconsistencies. So, ontology integration technologies are urgently needed to facilitate more comprehensive and scientific case base generation in emergency case management. There are three main parts in the thesis:First, emergency cases ontology and earthquake emergency cases ontology is established, which are descried by OWL;Second, a concept hierarchy similarity calculation method is proposed based on concepts syntax and grammar in the thesis. The method can find mapping relations among ontology concepts exactly,Lastly, ontology integration rules and mechanisms is set up to achieve ontology integration for emergency cases.
