Precision agriculture as an integrated application of geographic information technology computer-assisted decision-making technology, agricultural engineering technology and other modern hi-tech agricultural technology systems,has been paid more and more attention to. Nowadays, the Embedded Web technology has been widely used in Precision agriculture. Based on ARM-Linux development environment, this thesis constructs Embedded Web server and applies it in acquisition and transmission of farmland information. The system could transmit the collected farmland information effectively with benign stability and expansibility. The main contents include:(1)S3C2410 based on ARM9 is used as the system processor, its rich resources can not only realize the system function, but also facilitate the system expansion in the future. Building cross-compiler development environment on the processor include the compilation, the establishment of ARM-Linux cross-compilation tools…(2)Linux operating system transplanting includes the structural analysis of Linux2.6 core, code modification and reduction of the kernel, configuration, and transplantation(3)UsingC/C++code optimization method optimizes the performance of Embedded Linux, the tests show that the improved design reduces the system's response time of the maximum task, increases the system stability and speed, and reduces memory consumption.(4)This thesis selected Boa as Web Server, realized and configured the Embedded Web Server on the constructed software and hardware platform.(5)This thesis developed CGI program to implement dynamic Web technology and the interaction with the users.(6)Using POST method to achieve a file upload and realizing the file download by the GET method, which are not only convenient for the users to do the statistics but also can store more data by using the PC store device.Finally, this paper makes some suggestions for the system's perfection, and looks forward the application of the system, which is the farmland information acquisition and transmission based on wireless sensor networks of Zigbee protocol.
