Two-dimensional digital array radar adopts digital array module, with advantages such as not requiring high-power synthesis and having a flexible control beam, which makes it one of the main directions of modern digital radar.In this paper, based on certain large scale two-dimensional digital array radar, its array model is established; In order to facilitate system testing and signal processor debugging, an analog signal source with 440-channel digital signals that can flexibly set several targets'distance, azimuth, elevation and Doppler frequency is designed; Based on certain digital beam forming (DBF) hardware processing platform, with two large-scale FPGA (EP2SGX90) and a DSP processor (TS201), hardware multipliers within the FPGA and parallel computing structures are made full use of, and FPGA control logic and computing circuitry to achieve the formation of 14 receive beam DBF about 440 receive channels on the basis of comprehensive consideration of computational speed, resource consumption, the stability are designed. Finally, the system performance testing of the radar system is taken, and the outfield testing results are given. The results show that the analog signal source can effectively simulate the front-end received signals; DBF module meets the actual requirements. This wide array of two-dimensional signal simulator and the implementation method of DBF could also be used for reference in other Array Radar.
