In modern environment of campaign, radar is requested to deal with electron interference, and phased array radar adopting adaptive digital beam forming (ADBF) technology possess this ability. Adaptive digital beam forming technology is developing along with digital signals process technology, as a form of space-domain filter it is different from time-domain filter or frequency-domain filter. ADBF can form controllable multi-wave, can realize null forming, can gain lower side petal and have wave scan ability. This thesis thoroughly studies the adaptive digital beam null forming technology, main work as follows:1.Adding power rules in ADBF and ADBF algorithms are introduced, and the performance of ADBF algorithms are analysed. The best adding power formula of algorithms LMS and SMI are analysed. 2.Based on algorithm Gram-Schmidt, line array adaptive mull forming technology is studied. First the basic principle of Gram-Schmidt algorithm is clarified, Gram-Schmidt algorithm is given, and an improved Gram-Schmidt adaptive null forming algorithm which is applicable for continuous wave radar is discussed. Then adaptive mull forming algorithm is simulated.3.Circular array has many strong points. So this thesis studies the adaptive mull forming of circular array.
