Design And Implementation Of Billing Management System On EPON And EOC Network

EPON_EOC is a popular technology used for two-way network transformation to the traditional cable TV, which has been a research hot spot now. Aiming at the problem that most reports about EPON_EOC network emphasized on improving the network performance and stability, while the billing management of this network is less researched, a kind of system on EPON_EOC network is proposed.The design and realization of billing management system on EPON_EOC network is discussed in detail in this paper. Firstly, the authentication scheme based on 802. 1x and radius is presented. With some regular billing modes of Broad Band Network Business in current are thoroughly analyzed, one mode which is fit for EPON and EOC network well, and give priority to billing by time, other forms assisted by month, times and by stream, is put forward. And then, the technical scheme based on J2EE combined with MVC model and Oracle database performance turning are discussed. Secondly, the design on the overall system framework, logic framework and function framework are given, which distributes the system into three modules including Web server, billing management and statistic analysis, and also the implement method of each functional modules is introduced. Moreover, after comprehensive designed, the performance of Oracle database is adjusted to realize performance optimization of this system by using four kinds of technologies consists of memory, I/O, CPU, SQL code. Finally, the system testing network is set up to achieve function test and performance test for the system. The test result is analyzed and the improvement of system is also proposed.This system is implemented by java programming language with properties of good portability, scalability and independent. Furthermore, mainstream multi billing modes and statistical analysis method are applied in this system, which make function multiple and statistics visual. Database performance tuning technology is also applied to improve overall system performance. All the proposed researches provide practical application value for the further research of billing management on EPON_EOC network.
