Search System monitoring is a very important daily work in GPS team in Thomson Reuters. Especially, catching abnormal signals for Search System should be exact and without any delay, which is meaningful for health checking and trouble shooting. Due to the complex components and much workload, on one hand, Search System running normally is significant for Thomson Reuters'financial products and no monitor item can be missed; On the other hand, for conditions and problems during the monitoring, a professional managing platform needs to be created accordingly. This managing platform can help monitor engineer and maintenance engineer follow the problem processing steps and do trouble shooting. Therefore, designing a special Search System monitoring platform can make sense of these aspects as following:increasing the monitoring work effectively and exactly, following the problem progressing steps, helping engineer do daily monitoring, managing the problems effectively.With the work process and work content analyzing, this article summarizes the Search System theory and illustrates the mainly Search System components.
