With the development of multimedia technology, application of digital video has greatly improved our living standard. Nowadays, digital video processing technology has been widely used in military, communication, bank and many other fields, and along with the progress of the technology, it becomes more and more intelligent, real-time. And with the development of embedded technology, its advantages as low power consumption, high reliability, strong real-time and portability have attracted all over the world. In this article, we choose TMS320DM6446 which is produced by Texas Instruments (TI) Corporation. This processor integrats the ARM and DSP dual-core., and on the basis of this, this article researchs and developes the real-time video processing system and realizes human-computer interaction interface, video enhancement processing, communication between ARM and DSP. The prime task of thesis includes:1. To build up the embedded system developing platform, including U-boot, start process of Linux, porting design of the root file system, usage of some system service such as TFTP and NFS on Linux, communication between Linux and Windows and so on;2. Based on characteristics of TMS320DM6446 and Framebuffer technology, to research and realize the menu interface, providing favorable human-computer interaction function;3. To research the algorithms rules and application process of TI, including Codec Engine and Codec Server. Based on some kinds of video enhancement algorithms, to realize the porting of algorithms on DSP side and meet the requirement of video processing;The results show that menu management, video capturing, processing and displaying function have achieved expected results, and met the requirement of function control and real-time processing.
