With the development of the multimedia, people can not feel satisfaction at the information which is expressed by the mode of complanate. 3D Visualization has been an important direction currently. The spatial data related to application of the city is mufti-dimension, so it is no doubt to pursuing the visualization. However, the information of the city involves many complicated objects and covers huge number of data. So it is a great challenge for current research that how to construct a visualized environment to show this numerous and jumbled scene. The numerousness of the object surely asks for the capability of processing the great number of data during the visualization, keeping high fidelity of the scene in the same time.Based on the former research, this paper focus on the study of the fo11ow1ngs:1. In order to decrease the transmission on the network and improve the system response rate, the data compression must be used to reduce network bandwidth. The paper proposes a kind of data compression witch based on the format of X file and the streaming of the texture solution.2. Complex scene management, the efficient organization and management of spatial data are deeply conducted. After analyzing the current status of spatial data management, the efficient data organization of complex scenes project is studied.3. Study on in large-scale 3D scene visualization. Expound method of Direct3D. Multifold optimal strategies are studied: the fundamental principle of Occlusion Culling; buffer storage and the multithreading synchronous mechanism.
