Today more and more partners have joined in the value chain to the core of telecom operators, such as equipment suppliers, terminal manufacturers, content and service providers, solutions suppliers, distributors etc. Partner as a kind of competition resource, has begun to gradually become the telecom operators' object of contention. In order to support the rapidly developing business of Chinaunicom, and fill the requirement of full service, we urgent need construction Partner Relationship Management system in the premise of Chinaunicom Group's master plan.The IT system of Chinaunicom is divided into three system domains: BSS (Business Support System), OSS (Operation Support System), MSS (Management Support System). BSS includes Customer Relationship Management system, Billing and Settlement system, analytical system and external portal system, which provide comprehensive support for marketing, customer service and other enterprise's business activities. PRM (Partner Relationship Management) system is one of the BSS core system, which provide management and billing support for all partners.Province level PRM provide support for the partner of province level Chinaunicom and the administrator of partner.a) Partner Management: provides a variety of management functions targeted in the province partners, includes: Agreement Management, Data Management, State Management, Business Management, Contract Management, Credit management, Competitor Information Management.b) Partner Business Manager: provides business management of province level partner, includes: Business Information Management, Business Life-cycle Management.c) Partner Product Management: provides product management of province level partner, includes: Product Information Management, Product Configuration Management, Product Life-cycle Management, Product Catalog Management, Business Directory Management etc.d) Training Management: In order to gain better business opportunities and customer service, through the training of partners improve the competitiveness or technology, includes: Training Resources Library Management, Training Project Management, Training Course Management, Training Effect Evaluation Management.e) Problem Management: manages all problems which happened in the process of operation or services when Chinaunicom and its partners faced the customer, includes: Review and Distribution Problem, Answer Management, Problem Form Query, Partner Handling Complaint.f) Settlement Management: provides settlement management of province level partner, includes: Process Settlement, Reconciliation Bill Management, Setting Bill Management, Settlement Rule Management, Settlement Agreement Management.Headquarters level PRM provide support for the partner of headquarters level Chinaunicom and the administrator of partner.a) Partner Management: provides a variety of management functions targeted in the headquarters partners, includes: Agreement Management, Data Management, State Management, Business Management, Contract Management, Credit management, Competitor Information Management.b) Partner Business Manager: provides business management of headquarters level partner, includes: Business Information Management, Business Life-cycle Management.c) Partner Product Management: provides product management of headquarters level partner, includes: Product Information Management, Product Configuration Management, Product Life-cycle Management, Product Catalog Management, Business Directory Management etc.d) Training Management: In order to gain better business opportunities and customer service, through the training of partners improve the competitiveness or technology, includes: Training Resources Library Management, Training Project Management, Training Course Management, Training Effect Evaluation Management.e) Problem Management: manages all problems which happened in the process of operation or services when Chinaunicom and its partners faced the customer, includes: Review and Distribution Problem, Answer Management, Problem Form Query, Partner Handling Complaint.f) Settlement Management: provides settlement management of headquarters level partner, includes: Process Settlement, Reconciliation Bill Management, Setting Bill Management, Settlement Rule Management, Settlement Agreement Management. As a guide to Chinaunicom Group's master plan, with the IT system business rules and data model specifications of Chinaunicom, comply with overall solution and design principle of Partner Relationship Management system, on the basis of the depth analysis for business requirement, proposed the detailed solution of Partner Relationship Management system's main function modules.Partner Relationship Management system's technical architecture is Spring +Struts+Ibatis (SSI), and all for open-source framework, based on the JBPM workflow engine, achieve the process management through the secondary development, fill the requirement of telecom industry's PRM. JBPM that has least dependence can easily be used as a Java library, and it can also be used in large J2EE application server environment group. JBPM can be configured with any database, and it can be deployed on any application server. One of the JBPM's characteristics is the definition of business logic does not use some of the current specification, like WfMC, XPDL, BPML, ebXML, BPEL4WS etc, Instead of using a custom JBPM Process Definition Language (JPDL). JPDL think that a business process can be seen as a UML state diagram, JPDL defines each part of the state diagram in detail, such as start state, end state, conversion between the state; Another characteristic of JBPM is using ibatis to manage the database. In the Java field ibatis is the best solution of data persistence layer, JBPM separates the data management function through the ibatis, and it focus on the business logic processing.The project achieved the desired goal in-house testing, and the whole system is steadily running. The various functional points of Partner Relationship Management system are achieved stable operation and fill the business requirement; The workflow modules which are entirely consistent with the business processes achieve an efficient operation; The workflow interface layer shows better integration and scalability of business process. Partner Relationship Management system provide localized content and knowledge sharing, end to end support and services, direct communication and collaboration for enterprise-class partners, and it quickly promote the key competitiveness of enterprise.
