Modern electronic design is the core of EDA (Electronic Design Automation) technology. EDA technology relies on powerful computer systems, EDA software tools in the platform, using the bottom-up design,and Hardware Description Language HDL description for the system logic to complete the primary means of system design. Programmable logic device (FPGA / CPLD) can be easily digital system design, and in Altera's QuartusII software platform, FPGA design stages have been well supported, making the effective integration of the two digital systems design faster and more convenient. The design will be a core part of the music synthesizer integrated in the programmable logic device on the FPGA chip, greatly simplifying the external circuit, compared with previous conventional designs, which reduces the number and type of chip used, but also bring down power consumption reduce the volume, enhance the role of overall system performance, the system in use failure rates were significantly reduced. In addition, programmable logic devices based on the hardware description language Verilog HDL design, in this design at all stages of all levels to carry out computer simulation validation, to ensure the validity of the design process, can effectively reduce the design cost, shortening design cycle, and has broad application prospects.
