In china, ?VB + SQL? has been used in our development and management system more and more, however, there is a widespread problem that among data manipulation and search. Such as critical points, data search speed and so on. That greatly affected the results of system management, and also bring complains from customers. As the development of ?Component Based Development? and the combination the search plug-in, the ?VB+SQL2000? has accepted by more software company, especially to the advantage of accurate and quick SQL search. Base on the above problems, this paper is mainly to optimize the database in order to improve the search efficiency and to satisfy the customers.The original system was designed and put into use in 2003. Jilin Transit Authority was done a lot of investigation and analysis on the early stage, but the system's shortcomings more apparent with national policies and regulations changes. For example, several years ago, when transfer of vehicle transactions, license plate numbers does not changed; but last year some changes to the current vehicle transactions- the vehicle's license plate number should be changed at the same time-, while our original system is based on license plate number that uniquely identifies the license plate number is not changed. Relative to this market environment, it causes our database generate a lot of redundant data, if one vehicle is transacted for three times, the plate number needs to be changed three times and a database of information on the records of three vehicles, but the reality is one vehicle. Therefore, when we designed the system this time, the vehicle engine number and chassis number were as the identification field and tied together, this would resolve the problem of database redundancy. This is also the original purpose of designing this system.Changchun Municipal Transportation Administration Management Information System? using Visual Basic 6.0 as a development language, with SQL Server 2000 database development background, the system mainly includes 8 modules : freight account management, freight vehicles, approval, payment systems, illegal information, databases, video conferencing , file system, address book, personal information to maintain, which enables to input, query, modify, delete the vehicle line information, basic information and freight cars and freight vehicles account information. It can meet the basic requirements of goods vehicles and trade management.The system we currently used has two different modules: cargo management and vehicle management and data cannot interactive real time. In this design, we completely changed the situation. Business users and the conversion between vehicles become free, you can view real time vehicle information to one business account and it also can automatically transfer to fee system for paying taxes. And in the case of freight vehicles for frequent trading, the system will scan and record the bill of each vehicle. It can greatly improve the identification of false trading bill, and will record it into database. No matter how many times and where one vehicle transacted, it can be found. For the redundant data, the database will put a certain data into backup database for on file.Video conferencing module is needed to our daily work. The jurisdiction of Changchun Transport Management Department includes main urban zone and the 5 surrounding towns. The conference often held in the main urban zone, so that members from surrounding towns need to set out very early and conference in Changchun possible only last 2 hours. For response to the call of the national energy conservation, the system added a video conference which may facilitate the work.The nation advocates simplify administrative examination and approval procedures and paperless office. In current situation, for vehicle resided the owner need to flounder among several departments, thus wasted a lot of time on the road. In this design, many of the administrative examination and approval procedures can be approval directly in the system. It realized the paperless office, users only need to pay taxes at the end of the time that the jurisdiction to print a file manager archive copies of files on it. Users no longer need to hold many of the forms, signed among various departments.Not only kinds of administrative examination and approval procedures can implement in the system, but also kinds of documents can save in the system in order to users? friendly access and print. Further more, the links between the users may also be achieved through the system, so the system is set in some functions of the office of OA.Opening of information is the development direction of administration department. The module of infraccion information plans to open to the public in future, so that the owner can check relative information through login the home page of transport management.We hope that this system will bring convenience to Changchun City Transportation Management Office. |
