In the process of the development of the automatic control, PID control with the oldest strongest vitality is the basic control mode, the control algorithm is most widely applied in engineering, the applied research of the robustness has extensive practical value especially. Parameters setting methods which based on the IMC-PID are researched in this paper, this paper have deduced four different PID internal model setting formula through different approximate approach, and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is proved by simulation, at the same time, the robustness of different parameter perturbation circumstances for the controlled objects are analysised by the simulation. On this basis, more sensitivity function is used in the analysis, the robustness of the internal model setting algorithm is revealed in theory preliminarily, and the robustness verified by simulation. Finally, the whole paper was summarized and future was forecasting.
