Technology Of Traffic Detection And Research On Intelligent Control System

As societies become increasingly dependent on the transport and modern economic development, traffic control systems have become increasingly important. In order to solve traffic congestion problems, the current most effective and most economical way is to use intelligent control system. The so-called intelligent control system is the use of advanced detection technology and control technology for the development of the basis used to enhance the operational efficiency of transport network.Intersection traffic signal for the current situation at the time fixed allocation, this paper presents a fuzzy control method, mainly applied to control the phase of traffic signal.To resolve the peak traffic demand with the usual prevailing problem of inconsistency. Based on this control method, a single intersection traffic signal fuzzy controller development has been studied. In this paper, The following task has been completed:Firstly, design a single intersection traffic signal fuzzy control model, and propose a multi-phase fuzzy control method, which determine the signal timing with the current phase, follow-up phase based on the number of vehicles waiting and present a traffic flow model for a single intersection which can simultaneously reflect a mild degree of traffic and heavy traffic. And can describe the Queue length of the traffic flow model for a single intersection. After the simulation we verified that this control method is feasible and has advantages.Secondly, design the hardware and the software of the control system which microcontroller is AT89C51 and introduct detailly parts of the circuit.Finaly, summarize the whole work and point out some content which wound be researched in the future. And make a detailed introduction with the various parts of the circuit.The Infrastructure of the transport system is the traffic signal control machine. The extent of its intelligent optimization for achieving traffic control and intelligent management system upgrade is of great significance, so as to enhance traffic capacity of transportation facilities, increase traffic safety, and better to improve the traffic's order.
