With the continuous economic development of society and people's rising living standards and the whole community to the growing transport demand, the city's traffic problems has drawn increasing attention. Traditional traffic control system to the timing control system, this control method often one-way traffic a serious problem, resulting in a single direction of traffic delays is too large. The use of advanced traffic flow detection technology, advanced control strategies for high-tech development of intelligent transportation systems can significantly improve the efficiency of road transport, the solution to congestion problems is one of the most economic way.In this paper, the current ratio of intersection traffic control signal lights fixed the problem, a fuzzy algorithm based on intelligent control method for real-time control of the phase of the split, to meet peak and normal traffic flow of different prevailing needs. And in this method, which based on the completion of a single intersection traffic signal fuzzy controller. The main work of this thesis: To determine the vehicles in real time through the course of the frequency, to determine an extension of a number of road traffic flow.
