The wireless sensor network has been widely applied in the every filed of social life, such as: military, scientific research, production and so on. The wireless sensor network which has great value will have deeply influence on the human society. As a new discipline, wireless sensor network which integrates a lot of advanced technologies, is one of the hottest research. Most research about wireless sensor network take energy-saving as their primary target. This thesis analyzes the mechanic of topology control and suggests the network energy-exhaustion balance topology control algorithm from the point of topology control technology, which is the core technology of wireless sensor network. The following jobs will be done in this thesis. Firstly, the foundation of wireless sensor network will be briefly introduced, including the main contents, design goals, class of topology control and relative theories. Secondly, advantages and disadvantage of power control will be analyzed in the research of topology control by simulating and analyzing the topology control algorithms based on adjacency graph to give a theoretical basis for my algorithm. Thirdly, some improvements and optimizations about technology of clustering will be done. The technology of clustering is the critical technology of hierarchical topology structure control. Lastly, the content of my algorithm will be raised, such as design ideology, network model, design principles and implementation steps. The simulation of algorithm will be finished. The analysis of consequences of simulation expresses that the algorithm can optimize the clusters, protect the low residual energy node in the cluster, balance energy-exhaustion of network and achieve the aim to prolong survival time of network.
