As society's rapid development and commercialization process to accelerate, more and more industries and sectors need to have their own vehicles or other moving objects (hereinafter referred to as mobile terminal) and real-time information and can remotely monitor these mobile terminals. Such demand makes the vehicle monitoring system has gradually become a research hotspot at home and abroad, and established wireless communication, positioning, GIS and other technical support position in the field. I/O communications directly affect the vehicle monitoring system performance.In this paper, the application of monitoring system for mobile terminals as the background on the monitoring system in the communications server in the core technology with a number of key issues specific research. This paper presents a set based on GPRS/GPS/GIS monitoring system for mobile terminal solutions, systematic analysis of the vehicle monitoring system, communications server system's internal structure and focus on achieving the core functional unit - the gateway server. Gateway server and mobile terminals carrying the communication, the map server communication and other tasks, the whole car GPS communications server data logic processing center is to connect mobile terminals with the monitoring center of the bridge. The realization of the communications server, this paper focused on solving the establishment of gateway server, and communication between the mobile terminal, the internal data synchronization management, and interact with the database, and map server data exchange, database implementation and other issues. In the design process, in order to further enhance the communication server I/O communications capabilities and other performance and reasonable application of the non-blocking I/O communications, excellent software design patterns, using the thread pool, database connection pooling, data buffer cache and other technologies to optimize the communications servers, communications servers to improve throughput.This design and development of vehicle monitoring system of the communication server, effectively solve the current GPS industry, there exist in the same control center over the issue of communications servers, using the same platform can be compatible with a variety of GPS mobile devices, reducing the corporate the investment costs and improve efficiency in the use of mobile terminals and reduce the cost of enterprise monitoring and management, in order to enhance the market competitiveness of enterprises to provide an effective protection.
