Three-axis turntable is one of key device to test the inertia component. With the development of the aerospace and aviation industry, it is required to improve the precision of inertia component. Accordingly, the performance of the test turntable needs to be improved. This thesis mainly focused on the design of the system's hardware and the research of controller for actual project. The main works of the thesis are as follows:1 The background and significance of the research were represented, and the development trend and current research situation of turntable were discussed comprehensivly. The contents of this thesis were proposed based on forementioned work..2 Through analysing the turntable, the thesis presented the overall design by selecting FPGA+DSP as the system's hardware platform, DC Torque motor as the control object, and inductosyn as the sensor to test the turning angle.3 In view of the turntable's character,the thesis constructed the models of DC Torque Motor and all other components of the system, and carried out the simulation of the system with the digital PID algorithm. The result of the simulation.is analyzed4 For the uncertain load movement at the turntable running status, the thesis proposed the fuzzy PID controller. The method how to design it, how to confirm the cotroller's structure, how to establish Fuzzy controller rules, how to make the parameter fuzzy, and the method of fuzzy inference and defuzzification, are described, By comparing the regulation performance of the traditional PID controller with the fuzzy PID controller, it indicated that fuzzy PID controller is better than traditional PID controller. At last, the thesis describes the experience of how to adjust PID parameter.5 The thesis proposed some methods for the turntable with some nonlinear problems.
