Application Research Of The Network Data Exchange Based On JAVA And XML

With the developing of the technology of computer network, modern enterprise can reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve the enterprise's competitiveness through carrying out information in management, production and business, but in the process of enterprise's development, enterprise develops and recommends a number of application systems which can run by themselves. Each application system has its own operating environment and storage methods, resulting in producing a variety of different data sources. Each application system is closed to each other, so the data can not exchange and sharing, and the data formats and code are not the same between the data sources, moreover a large number of data are redundancy, thus forming "information islands", which limits the further development of enterprises. Therefore, how to easily achieve the exchange and sharing of information between application systems has become the real problems for enterprises.In this paper, the target is to achieve the data exchange in the heterogeneous environment, and basing on XML and Java technology build a scheme which is used for the exchange of heterogeneous data between enterprises. First of all, proposing a system framework of data exchange bases on XML between heterogeneous databases, and describes the work way of the framework and analysis the characteristics of the framework. Second, describing the design and implementation of the key module, and the module includes data extraction, XML documents conversion, XML data sending and receiving and data loading. The most important is that proposing an improved mapping rule, using between database and XML.This rule makes the structure of XML easily to understand, at the same time greatly enhances the conversion efficiency between XML and database. Finally, it makes heterogeneous data exchange system which is based on XML use in e-commerce. From a practical view, it proves that the scheme is feasible.Since the program's development platform bases on Java, therefore it has the characteristics of cross-platform, and can compatible with most hardwares, softwares and database platforms which are used in enterprises, and can shield networks, databases, application systems, and the differences of hardware and software platforms, so that enterprises achieve transparent and seamless data exchange through heterogeneous data integration system; In addition, this scheme has a good adaptability and scalability.The scheme is not only applicable to e-commerce, but also be extended to other industries and sectors, and it can be used as a common data exchange platform, and it has great significance for solving heterogeneous data exchange between enterprises.
