With the rapid development of Internet technology, people in different areas of the world, whether in work, study, or aspects of life have been inseparable from the network. Mobile network services, in this fast-paced era, especially are attented all over the world. And its flexibility, efficiency and the rising popularity makes it has become the prefered service in business, technology, education and other aspects.Mobile device have to perform handoff when it enter into the arae of foreign networks form from local network. In the handoff process, communication between the mobile device and communication node will produce a certain delay due to switching, which may result in the loss of data packets, and even the interruption of communications links; the registration process may also generate a large number of resource overhead, such as the registration request, delivery of the response message. In this paper, research work based on the above-mentioned problems in mobile IPv6 carried out as follows:In the first place, according to the analysis on the system structure of hierarchical mobile IPv6, we designed a more reasonable network structure for mobile nodes' fast movement and frequent handoff; Secondly, by analysis of the principles of current mechanism of movement detection, we proposed a low-delay detection methods. With the absence of link-layer trigger mechanism, proposed a critical active detection model, whitc can effectively reduce the handoff delay resulting from movement detection, reducing the resource requirements on mobile nodes and network systems in testing process; What's more, for the new address register of mobile node after handoff, duplicate address detection(DAD) algorithm is improved, that avoid address conflicts submitted using the new process active query address table instead of passively waiting for the inherent response time, effectively reduced the switching delay caused by DAD; Finally, based on the analysis and comparison of several current binding update mechanism, we designed the security binding update mechanism based on Deffie-Hellman key exchange algorithm, it will greatly enhance the security of binding update in HMIPv6 network. This paper is targeted at mobile IPv6 networks, a series of studies worked on handoff and its security, for the purpose of reduce the switching latency and packet loss rate, to maintain the wireless network communication smooth, and on this basis, the improve network security...
