Relying on "Monitoring system for digitalized environmental protection" of the University-Industry Project of FuZhou(RongCaiGong[2008]38), this paper carries on systematic research to digital environmental protection monitoring and completes the design and preliminary application of multi-protocol data platform based on embedded system and public network. In this paper, a relatively systematic research on the following aspects such as peripheral interface, protocol analysis, data communication(hardware and software) and so on, by means of aiming at the development of monitoring equipment at home and abroad, combing the characteristics of field work, focusing on the existing problems of related products in the current market such as bad compatibility of equipment protocol and poorly supporting various control equipment protocols, etc.First, system requirement and model of multi-protocol data platform based on embedded system and public network are given in this paper. On the basis of which, the design scheme of monitoring system for digitalized environmental protection is proposed. The platform is designed and realized based on embedded system, GPRS/GSM, ZigBee, CAN and computer techniques, supports the online programming of flash, whose content can be modified freely according to requirement. The parse of multi-protocol data flow is realized by using characteristic characters, which can strengthen suitability and universality of protocol analysis. Whereas, the monitoring system for digitalized environmental protection is composed of data collection module, wireless module, multi-protocol processing and monitoring center software, etc. For hardware design, LPC2378 is chosen as main CPU because of its high integration and rich resources to reduce peripheral ICs. Many methods are applied to improve system's anti-interference and reliability. As concerned as software design, Several methods such as modularization, time-limited service, symmetric encryption and decryption can enhance the stability and transportability of the system, implement software reconstruction and upgrade conveniently.Finally, this paper summarizes the research contents and puts forward a further study direction on the topic.
