The Study On The Mechanism Of Humanoid Recognition Characteristic For Image Character

Due to the variety and complexity of the Chinese characters structure and quantity, it is difficult to describe the characteristic of Chinese characters completely and uniformly. Due to the similar and variability of Chinese characters shape and font, it is difficult to distinguish the Chinese characters shape integrally and uniquely. The veracity, agility and permissibility of the Chinese characters automatic recognition system always could not reach or approach to those of the mankind.Proceed from people's recognition course to Chinese characters, this paper study the organically combination of the mankind recognition mechanism and the machine cognitive mode, make the machine imitate people's discernment course and approach to the people recognition Chinese characters effect as much as possible.The following are the major contents in the thesis:1) Image Character pretreatment. A binary method of imbalanced illumination image characters is proposed. By the binary wavelet transform, image characters edge points can be attained in the best scale. Image characters binary threshold can be selected by edge point gray value.. The experiment result shows the method is effective on imbalanced illumination image binary.2) Image Chinese character characteristic extraction. An algorithm of Stroke extraction based on Chinese characters structure and edge is presented. The algorithm could effectively extract four sorts of strokes from image Chinese character by the wavelet edge detection of the Chinese character stroke structure The strokes relation and characteristic points, relate to Chinese characters topological structure, could extract from the four sorts of strokes. The algorithm gets good result in the stroke extraction for Chinese characters.3) The coding for Image Chinese character. Based on some Chinese character coding schemes and machine cognitive, combined the characteristic of structure and stat of the extracted strokes' shape, form and quantity, an eleven-shapes Chinese character coding is presented.The research in this article shows that: the binary method is effective on imbalanced illumination image binary; Stroke extraction algorithm can extract the four sorts of strokes from Chinese character; Eleven-shape coding can effectively indicate the trait of Chinese character.
