In respect of chaology, synchronization of chaotic systems is frontier research topic, which has become a research hotspot in non-linear science. Secret communication into which chaos synchronization is integrated is becoming a new research direction which has promising application prospects. This paper discusses and researches into chaotic synchronization and its application in secret communication.This article focuses on continuous chaotic dynamical systems and chaos synchronization control and chaos secure communications research, mainly including the following aspects:Chapter 1: the development of chaos, current situation, the significance and the main research contents of this article are introduced.Chapter 2: the relevant theoretical knowledge used in this article is described.Chapter 3: the synchronization of coupled nonlinear systems is investigated by means of contraction theory. Via the construction of a contracting virtual system, the synchronization of coupled Chen system is investigated, completely synchronization, and co-existence synchronization and anti-synchronization of coupled Chen systems is well achieved.Chapter 4: on the basis of the third chapter, using synchronized coupled Chen system and chaotic masking technology, a secure communications scheme is designed. And the interactive relationship between the synchronization condition and the useful signal is analyzed.Chapter 5: In recent years, the study of hyper-chaos interests many scholars. So we present a hyper-chaotic secure communication scheme based on parameter identification. Main factors that affect the error of parameter identification are analyzed, and one way of modulating parameter after restriction on the frequency and amplitude of the useful signal is proposed. Simultaneously, the third component of the system needs de-noising. The way can achieve the restoration of the useful signal to a better purpose.
