The21st century is an era of information, contest of countries is not only focusing on military, but also the capability of secret communications. The research on secret communication is obviously of great importance in communications security. Chaos synchronization possess a lot of unique characteristics such as key length is irrelevant to its processing speed, signal is almost completely modulated to random chaotic signal, making it more difficult to derive the original signal from chaotic signal. The confidentiality can thus be better and chaos synchronization owns good prospects for development.In this paper, a chaos adaptive synchronization controller is proposed and designed based on the introduction and analysis of chaos. In the end, a complete higher secrecy communication system is built with combination of confidential algorithm and chaotic synchronization system. The main content of this article is as follows.First of all, introductions about adaptive chaos synchronization and secret communication are mentioned. What are the main research directions and their advantages and shortcomings are also summarized.Secondly, related knowledge and concepts of chaos and chaotic system which is of great help to know the phenomenon and essence are stated. This article also introduces several methods of chaotic synchronization control.Then, an adaptive controller is designed for the Lorenz chaotic system. Two adaptive parameters can achieve the desired value when the receiving system synchronizes with delivery system. The Lyapunov function can give the range of the controller within which drive system synchronizes with response system no matter what the initial value of the system is.Finally, a higher secrecy algorithm is obtained with the application of iterative algorithm. The combination of secret algorithm and adaptive chaotic synchronization system makes a complete secret communication system completed. In the end, the system is verified by simulation.
