The Design And Application Of Campus-Wide Information System Based On AJAX System

With the rapid development and popularization of computer and internet technology, educational informationization has made a great progress. And various Campus-Wide Information Systems(CWIS) have been applied in different stages of education and schools. Meanwhile, the new revolution for foundamental education has made the all-round development education become the important symbol and core value for modernization of China's education.The thesis studies the current situation of Campus-Wide Information System(CWIS), and tries to find the problems of present web-based system. The Ajax-based CWIS has been brought up to solve the problem, and it successfully reduce the workload of server and internet, increase the speed and working efficiency, and create the friendly customer experience with no-refreshing and no-waiting.The thesis focuses on the research of students'comprehensive quality assessment, which is based on campus-wide information system. With the instruction of two government documents(The Education Ministry Notice on Improving the Revolution of Assessment and Examination Policies in Secondary School and The Embodiment for Students 'Comprehensive Quality Assessment in Tianjin High Schools), the paper is expounding the design and application of Campus-Wide Information System in aspesct of information system theory, feasibility study and demand analysis. The resolution is supported by the ASP.NET AJAX and SQL Server2005 Data Base. The assessment system comes from four judgments: self-evaluation, group evaluation, teachers'evaluation and parents'evaluation.The Comprehensive Assessment tracks the students'activity and reflection in research, social practice and social services during the whole semester.The different judges record the descriptive comments and level for different student based on their scores in high schools.The new system revised the presentation of comprehensive quality assessment. It combines the level classification with descriptive assessment, which explain the students' improvement, potential talents and shortages aiming in explicity, actuality, systematic and representativeness.The new Campus-Wide Information System has been implemented in practice and showed an important meaning in application. Not only dose the system help with the students'graduation and further-study, but it will also benefit the students'life plan, encourage parents to cooperate with school management and direct teachers'teaching purpose and methodology.
