Distributed Control System is widely used in many fields,such as mechanism, electric power, oil, chemical industry and so on, with development of modem big producing system automatization level and increasing complexity of requirement of process supervise, and it is created by integrating control system. The PC-based Distributed Control System, attached with mature Configuration Software in industrial control, is an important developing direction in the control field now.Taking example for SUPCON ECS-100-type DCS distributed control system, the paper does detailed research into the system needs analysis, hardware and software configuration processes, system operation testing reliability of the measures, and describes the distributed control system design, group state process, design plan and functional implementation. It also compiles control programs for the production process with need for special control and achieves control algorithm configuration design and graphic configuration design. Based on the design plan and designed drawings, the paper configures a combined DCS control system by establishing the database, compiling the control program and designing operational demonstration charts. (including flowcharts, instruments measuring circuit diagrams, instrument control charts, etc.) Finally, the paper compiles the control program fit for the characteristics of our refinery's special production devices, meets the control requirement.The use of this system will improve the control rate, control precision, real-time, reliability, automatic control standards of instrumentation and reduce the failure rate greatly. The writer makes a analysis of how to raise the speed of configuring the distributed control system and how to insure its maturity and high reliability, and so makes the system easy to use, modify and maintain.
