Application Research On Software Reliability Modeling With Time Series Theory

With the rapid development of science and technology, with the advent of the information age, in their daily lives, we must use a computer almost all the time, it seems to have become inextricably linked and part of our lives. It is precisely because of its wide range of applications, but also led to the possibility of a computer software failure greatly increase, and people's normal production and life have had a serious impact. Ever since people started to pay attention to the reliability of the software began to study for it has been popular so far, the academic community has already raised hundreds of software reliability model.Time series theory has been applicatied widespread and effectively in banking, information, engineering and weather forecast. According to the characteristic of software failure data, use time series theory to build the software reliability model. The research work is summarized as follows:(1) Introduced the topic of research background and significance, introduced the history of the development of software reliability and the status quo, the quality of software and software related to the reliability of the contents of the briefing.(2) Collect and classify the existing software reliability models, and analyze modeling idea and method of a few classic models.(3) To be more practical, according to the characteristic of time series modeling, pay attention to the collecting and analyzing principle of software failure data.(4) Introduce the basis theory of time series, especially for stochastic time series.(5) Give an example, a software control system of failure data in testing phase as a time series, using stochastic time series model to analyze and forecast. The result shows that this method has a good effect in software reliability modeling within a boundary.
