Research And Implementation Of Workflow Engine On Business Collaboration

Nowadays, information flows at a high speed and the market is competitive. Thus to improve enterprise's efficiency through business collaboration is the key for enterprises to success. And workflow as a rapid developing new technology in computer industry is the core to achieve business process modeling, process optimization and ultimately process automation. On this basis, combining with the practical application needs, the thesis designs and implements a lightweight workflow engine based on J2EE in line with simple, flexible and user-friendly principles. Then the thesis illustrates the design idea, operation dispatching mechanism and key technology of the engine. This workflow engine provides a running container for business process and ensures the normal operation of the process. At the same time, it provides rich interfaces to external applications and has clear and opening structure to be embedded into application systems easily, excellent portability and scalability.Finally, referring to actual business needs, the thesis applies the workflow engine to cooperative office platform to implement modeling, analysis and execution of the business process, so as to promote the process to flow automatically.
