The quality of coated glass has been the most concern with the coated glass manufacturer at home and abroad, color difference is a key quality index of coated glass. With regard to the condition that arranging wire is difficult and data processing is inefficient by glass product line. This paper designs coated glass color difference data real-time monitoring system based on wireless communication, with the help of wireless communication technology, database technology and computer technology.Firstly, according to the specific requirements of coated glass production site, this paper carries out the whole design. The system is departed into three modules based on the modularization design concept, including: data wireless transmission module, database design module and data real-time processing module.Secondly, this paper describes the design and implementation process of three modules. Wireless communication equipment selection and implementation: to adopt wireless module PTR4000PA of nRF2401AG core chips, it implements data wireless transmit and receive functions with the MCU C language program. Design and implementation of coated glass color difference database: using reasonable referential integrity between all the data tables, it creates the coated glass color difference database and data tables on the basis of SQL statements under the SQL Server 2000 Query Analyzer. Design and implementation of data real-time processing: using C++ language and ADO technology, it achieves major data processing functions, such as: data dynamic storage, data display, data backup, data query, yield statistics, data delete, data print and operator management based on Visual C++6.0. Limit the production of coated glass to the biggest extent which lower than the national standard. Finally, the debugging and experiment are carried out for the whole system. The results show that this system is running normally with good performance, satisfied the actual need of engineering appliance and worthy of using underground.
