Taking laser as radiation source and carrier frequency, lidar is a co-product of laser and radar. The bistatic receiver of single base or bistatic laser radar system in this paper is composed of 6 * 4 array detection unit. The main task in this paper are to develop multi-channel recipient ranging circuit board to complete processing the output signal form the multi-channel detection array unit. Then this board can provide distance information for bistatic laser radar targeting system. This thesis is devoted to the research on the correlation theory of lidar and the methods of laser ranging. The ranging circuit in this paper is with simple structure, handling multi-channel echo signals based on principle of pulse laser ranging. The hardware and software design of three modules contains time-identification circuit, time interval measurement circuit and serial communication circuit. In the time-identification module, the high-speed comparer ADCMP600 and the diode IN5819 are employed. The circuit is simple and with small propagation delay. The time interval measurement circuit is completed by high-precision time-digital converter TDC-GP1. In serial communication circuit, the bistatic method to realize the communication is used between the circuit board and the host computer. The advantages of RS232 and RS422 interfaces are maximized. The results verify the feasibility of the circuit. The circuit can meet the requirements of ranging and signal processing by laser radar prototype system.
