LXI breaks down geographical restrictions,it uses the fast-developing Ethernet technoloty to adapt to the demand of distributed test and control systems. Control software is the core of the entire system in the construction of LXI device system. Easy-looking man-machine interface is required to be provided in control softwares. Remost control and maintenance can be achived with this interface. The introduction of configuration technology into LXI device systems can greatly improve the utilization efficiency and development efficiency of control software, thus complex and large integrated test system can be easily constructed.This paper does research on the realization of configuration softwares of LXI device system`s control software. It also analyzes the LAN discovery in LXI system, Web interface and the public properties based on IEEE1588. On this basis, the control ability of LXI host is promoted, and the precondition and detailed realization of the control function are layed out. This paper presents a software architecture program and describes each of the function module of the master interface. The on-line instruments can be controlled and managed by the master interface, and information browsing and basic configuration can be done via the web browser. Highlight is put on the driver module of instruments based on VISA, so that the instrument portability and interoperability can be improved.This paper presented the implementation scheduling of this system, and put forward the plan and assumption of the unfinished part and the finished part worthy of perfection.
