Diode-pumped solid-state laser technology is the main development of new generation. In this paper, the development of Diode-pumped solid-state laser and the technology of solid-pulse laser currently are introduced, The energy transfer mechanism and the characteristics of the output laser beam of Semiconductor-pumped tune Q Nd: YVO4 laser are analyzed, as well as some factors that affect the output laser beam, the expression of some parameters which the output energy of the Q-laser, threshold value, slope efficiency, peak power and impulse width are given.After discussed the theory and the laser output characteristics of the laser semiconductor pumped Q-switched laser, which shows the pumping structure, condenser, cavity, electro-optic Q-switched, coupling optical system, cooling system design method as well as its basis of the high-power Diode-pumped solid-state laser.
